family vaca

As per the usual, we were on-the-go again at the end of July. This time on vacation!
Please note: loading your car with mountain bikes will not be good for your gas mileage.
First stop was to Joe and Tyler's house.
Ethan cracks me up.
Bright and early the next day, we headed to Tongue River Canyon.
And of course had to stop to take in the scenery.
How beautiful is this view?!?!
We couldn't get enough.
Then we made it to the top and dropped off the riders.
Elliott and I went back to the bottom to wait.
We watched the water,
threw rocks,
hiked (this was terrifying by the way),
and just hung out and waited......waited......waited.
5 hours later.....we had a kid with a huge smile,
and 3 dirty guys.
The boys rode the bike track in Sheridan and we saw deer crossing the river.
Then it was onto Colorado to visit Abby, Chris and Henrik.
Ethan is just as good of a big cousin as he is a big brother.
Even Elliott liked hanging out with Henrik.
Tucker found his new best friend. Uncle Jason is a pushover. :)
We played a lot of Jenga.
Chris, Jason and Ethan went on a 9 mile bike ride in the mountain.
They had a blast!
I got to hang out with Abby and the littles.
Henrik thinks Uncle Jas is a pretty awesome guy.
And when Abby is gone, the boys did play. A nerf dart horn and maraschino cherries.
And of course we needed a little sprucing up.
My very good friend from forever ago, Gwen, was getting married while we were there too! This was the bachelorette get together.
We all got to paint our own canvases to take home.
I love that they are ALL so different.
More Jenga. Elliott was amazingly good at this game.
Then Abby and I went early to help the bride get ready for her big day.
Isn't she gorgeous?
Two of the best people I know. I'm so happy for them.
Only thing missing from this party was Ellett.
I even got to dance with the cutest boy in the whole place. ;)
The next day we headed back home. It was a LONG day, but the trip was a wonderful one.
This was the best site ever.
