halloween

The boys were both into the carving this year, and it made it even more fun.
Ethan did his whole pumpkin almost by himself. Jason cleaned up the carving a little after he was done, but Ethan did a pretty good job.
We were SO happy that Jason was home to celebrate with us.
They turned out fun. Jason made his very own art. Do you know who did each one?
I had big plans for our costumes this year. BIG PLANS. But with no where to go, and so much going on, I didn't get it done. Halloween morning, Elliott said I should dress up, so I pulled out the rock star outfit. It wasn't amazing, but it worked.
Elliott and I went with Andrea and her girls to the kids trick-or-treating downtown after he got out of preschool. He got a bucket full of candy just from this!

Just another reason I LOVE living in Helena. All the downtown businesses hand out candy, and it's perfect for the little kids.
Then Elliott and I went over to Ethan's school to get him ready for his party. All the kids loved it!
And then we picked Ethan up after school and headed to trick-or-treat at the Fort. We got a LOT of compliments on both costumes. They both picked out what they wanted to be and helped get them made. They both have also decided that next year they need something easier to move in. :)
We were invited to spend the evening at our friends house eating pizza, cupcakes and trick-or-treating. We all had a great time. Jason and I got some adult time, and the kids played until way past bedtime. The weather was perfect too. It was a busy day, but a perfect day.
