the F word

That's right. It was the big FOUR for Elliott. Planning for this party started months ago. He decided a long time ago he would be having a Nerf party, and I could not have been more excited. I immediately went to work searching for party ideas. I asked Jason to plan out some Nerf activities and obstacles for the kids to do. I collected tons of boxes, then it was time to party.

Tova helped me make the perfect cake.
Ta-Da!
The birthday boy got to do the first obstacle course run. First the potato sack race.
Then shooting at the balloon.
Followed by more shooting and then the web crawl thing.
Shoot again, and finish.
The kid has skills. Haha.
Even the Dads and Moms got in on it.
The smiles say it all.
It was not as easy as it looked.
And our smallest guest got to take his turn too.
After the kids were worn out, it was time for cake.
He barely waited for the song to finish before he blew out his candles.
And he got some help from his big brother with his gifts.
Everyone was SO good to him.
He loved everything.
Then there was an all-out, each-man-for-himself, Nerf war. Each kid got "safety glasses" and a Nerf gun of their own. No one went home disappointed, that's for sure.
I say it every year, but really, where does time go? Just four short years ago, we had the cutest little dark haired, brown eyed baby boy.
And now, we have the funniest, smartest, most handsome four year old boy.
Everyday is an adventure with this one, and we love it.
